The disadvantage of the Vype is that the PODs are not refillable. This is a lot less durable compared to the use of loose fluids. In addition, the POD's are a lot more expensive.
It is important to mention that Vype offers up to 1 year warranty on all its products. This is different from refillable e-cigarettes, where the warranty only offers 2 months.
